אבי אנקורי, יו"ר ארגון עובדי מערך הכבאות, יישאר בתפקידו ולא יפוטר, כך קבע היום בית המשפט המחוזי בחיפה.

בכך נסתיימה לה הסאגה שנמשכה מספר שנים בה נרדף אנקורי באופן אישי על ידי ההנהלה הקודמת רק משום שמילא את תפקידו בנחישות רבה, והכל כדי לשמור על עובדי המערך, על תנאיהם ועל זכות ההתארגנות שלהם אשר היתה בסכנה ממשית.
את אנקורי ליוותה באופן צמוד וחם ההסתדרות, בראשותם של יו"ר ההסתדרות ארנון בר דוד , גיל בר טל, יו"ר הסתדרות המעו"ף ועוז גולדברג, מחזיק תיק הכבאים.

את אנקורי ייצגה עורכת הדין איילה הוניגמן לה הודה אנקורי מקרב לב.
