פעולות הצלה דרמטיות והירואיות במיוחד של כבאים מתחנת תל אביב הצילו את חייה של אישה בשנות השבעים לחייה.

מוקדם יותר הערב זיהו כבאיי תל אביב רכב שנכנס לתחנה בעקבות כבאית. מהרכב יצא אדם מבוהל שהחל לצעוק כי אמו שנמצאת איתו ברכב לא חשה בטוב, ״תעזרו לי תעזור לי, אמא שלי לא מרגישה טוב״ צעק הנהג.

אוזן: ״הבנתי מהבן שמדובר באישה עם מחלת ריאה, היא איבדה הכרה והחלה לשנות צבע. אני ושי מנצור הוצאנו אותה מהרכב והשכבנו אותה על הרצפה. ניסיתי לפתוח לה נתיב אוויר כי הלשון והגרון נראו נפוחים מאוד, בדקתי דופק אבל לא הרגשתי כלום. בינתיים הביאו חבריי למשמרת את מכשיר הדיפיברילטור שנמצא בתחנה. תוך כדי עיסויים חיברנו את המכשיר. המכשיר לא נתן פולסים של חשמל, הוא השמיע הנחיה שיש להמשיך בעיסויים וכך עשינו. כעבור מספר דקות הגיע צוות של מד״א למקום שעשה שימוש במספר תרופות והאישה חזרה להכרתה.״

לקראת פינויה של האישה לבית החולים פנה הבן אל הכבאים והודה להם כשהוא נרגש מאוד, ״הצלתם לי את אמא שלי״ אמר להם בהתרגשות.
